I had a baby two and a half years ago and it was hard to come back.
Just six months after (giving birth) I had quite extensive surgery and I didn’t think I would play again. It was hard to come back and to have those conversations.
But whatever barrier it is that stops women from playing, I think it’s really important we overcome it. That we encourage those open conversations.
