Nat Metcalf gave birth to her daughter Miller seven months ago and is now looking to make her return to the international stage when the Vitality Roses face Jamaica.
The 2018 Commonwealth Games champion and 2023 Netball World Cup silver medallist has never shied away from her desire to get back on the international stage with her daughter watching on in the crowd but after having an emergency C-section, she’s had to listen to her body and “be kind to herself” along the way.
In a sit-down interview, Nat opens up about her postnatal journey to date, reflects on what she wishes she knew – from the ‘bumps in the road’ to the importance of pelvic floor exercises – and celebrates all the netball mums who are not only supporting but inspiring her.
See if Nat makes her return to court this December – tickets for the Vitality Netball Horizon Series on 13 and 14 December at the Copper Box Arena are available here.
