Many women and girls experience health symptoms but don’t know where to turn, or feel unsure about how to start the conversation.
Too often this leads to worries being dismissed, delayed diagnoses, or feeling alone when support is available.
This guide is designed to make it easier: showing clear steps to find the right help, ask the right questions, and feel empowered to advocate for your health with confidence.
It explains the different healthcare professionals available through GP practices (including nurses, pharmacists, and clinicians), how to book an appointment, and what to prepare in advance. It encourages women to write down concerns, bring support if needed, and feel empowered to ask for a GP or specialist with an interest in women’s health.
